Bucket (R1-J5) : Droid of the Day – 02/28/2020

“A battered, decrepit old droid addled by outdated, glitching programming, Bucket has been Jarek Yeager’s loyal astromech for years. Despite the droid’s eccentric behavior, Bucket is a capable mechanic.” – Databank entry

Bucket shows how cool an astromech droid would look without it’s fancy shell.

This figure came in a 2 Pack with Jarek Yeager as part of the Star Wars Resistance line made by Hasbro in 2019.

Still available from Amazon and probably easily obtainable from stores like ROSS or 5Below.

Jax Beastbot : Droid of the Day – 02/03/2020

Jax Beastbot is weird astromech like rabbit thing part of the Power Ranger’s Beast Morphers line made by Hasbro in 2019. It is actually part of a 6″ scaled line but is about the same size as a Star Wars Astromech Droid.

Readily available in most retail stores still. I got mine at Target. Amazon is another easy way to pick this little droid up for about $8-$9 or in a set with a 6″ Yellow Ranger for about $13.

Mega Man X : Droid of the Day – 1/28/2020

Mega Man X was part of the Marvel Universe Gamerverse subline 2pack from Hasbro in 2017.

Amazon does have a couple of these in their Marketplace for around $20. Ebay seems to be a bit cheaper though.

Rush : Droid of the Day – 1/27/2020

Rush is from the Bandai Tamashii Nations D-Arts Mega Man/Rock Man line. Rush is Mega Man’s trust robot dog. This set was released on the 25th Anniversary of the franchise. The figures are a little big for 1:18 but the other figures in this line are way too large.

This set is pretty expensive now. Amazon has it for about $100 at the moment. E-Bay isn’t much better on price for the set. I got mine from HLJ.com 6 yearsish ago. It actually was returned to them so I ended up paying shipping from Japan twice.
