Trashcan is from the 2009 animated Astroboy movie.
This figure is part of a two-pack that came with a Weapon drone. The Astroboy action figure line was made by Jazwares in 2009, the same year the movie came out.
This is a 3 figure set made by Aquamarine. Just like the Goblin-Kun by Aplhamax, these goblins are similar to the goblins in the anime Goblin Slayer
The figures come in a box with images of the figures on the front, back, and each of the sides. When you open the box each figure comes packaged in its own little baggie.
I ordered them from Amiami but they are also available on Ebay.
Each goblin is most differentiated by their heads and the position of their legs. Goblin 1 is standing and has his tongue out. Goblin 2 is slightly bending his knees and grinning. Goblin 3 is squatting and drooling.
Goblin 1 – Standing with tongue out
Goblin 2 – Bent knees and grinning
Goblin 3 – Squatting and drooling
Compared to a Boss Fight Studio Vitruvian HACKS Blank each goblin is about 3/4s the height.
Here are all four goblins in this style.
In addition to the goblins there is a pack of accessories. A rudimentary sword, a club, and a rock.
They all have a hole in them that fits a peg on each goblin’s hand to hold the accessory.
Articulation:
Barbel upper neck
Ball lower neck
Ball shoulders
Ball mid-torso
T-bar hips
Each goblin is made using the same structure so you are able to mix and match each one to get them to look however you wish.
Here is a parts image. The chest piece goes over the cross shaped piece that gives the shoulder and upper torso articulation.
Grim is what happens when you take a monster truck and turn it into an action figure.
These new Monster Jam Creatures figures are made in 2020 by Spin Master Toys as part of the 1:64 scale monster trucks that they make.
I found this guy at Target. I would assume he’ll show up at Wal-Mart as well at some point. He is also available from Amazon.
Sculpt:
Grim seems to be a cross between Skeletor and Phantom Skykiller.
Paint:
His paint applications are pretty basic with solid colors for most of the figure.
Articulation:
Unfortunately this figure does not have much in the way of articulation.
Swivel neck
Swivel peg and hinge shoulders
Swivel T-hips
Accessories:
Grim does come with a 1:64 version of the Monster Truck Grave Digger he was comes from. I don’t collect mini cars so that is going straight to the store.
Not really an accessory per se but he has some killer boots.
Size and scale:
Just like the other figures in this line Grim stands right around the 5″ mark. This whole line is a little larger than typical 1:18 scale figures I feature here but could work as a larger type character. Similar to how I use Ninja Turtle Villains and some 2K Masters of the Universe figures.
Final thoughts:
This figure is also very reminiscent to Chap Mei figures that I love. It was an easy decision to add all 3 figures of this line (so far) to my collection even if they are a little larger than I usually collect.
The Knights of the Slice February edition of the Action Figure of the Month is a stone deco version of Chakan. I guess he didn’t get along with Medusa too well.
Petit’gguy aka Bearguy is actually a huge MECH in the Gundam universe but I got the figure to be a cutesy little robot for my 1:18 collection.
This figure is a Bandai Hobby HGBF 1/144 Lightning Blue Petit-Beargguy Gundam Build Fighters Model Kit that you have to put together from its spru. I was able to put it together very easily so It’s not like a challenge or anything.
These things a pretty cheap and can be found between $5-$15 depending on what color and style you would want. Amazon has bunches of styles and colors. I ordered mine from BBTS.com, It is sold out of this color but there are other colors and styles available.
Captain Black is what happens when you take a monster truck and turn it into an action figure.
These new Monster Jam Creatures figures are made in 2020 by Spin Master Toys as part of the 1:64 scale monster trucks that they make.
Sculpt:
Captain Black is a pretty sweet looking skeleton pirate with both a hook and and an anchor for a peg-leg. It doesn’t really get any cooler than that.
Paint:
His paint applications are pretty basic with solid colors for most of the figure.
Articulation:
Unfortunately this figure does not have much in the way of articulation.
Swivel neck
Swivel peg and hinge shoulders
Swivel T-hips
Accessories:
Captain Black does come with a 1:64 version of the Monster Truck Pirate’s Curse he was spawned from. I don’t collect mini cars so that is going straight to the store.

Compared next to a MOTU 2K Two-Bad figure

The Mobile Mastiff is a robotic dog from a Chinese animated show called World Peacekeepers.
The figure is from a line made by M&C Toy Centre that also makes the Army figures called Power Team Elite – World Peacekeepers as well. The two lines are completely separate things though. The animation line is really pretty great for Sci-Fi lovers.
Maximus appears to be a monster truck transformed into an action figure. That is all.
The figure is from a new line called Monster Jam : Creatures by Spin Master Toys. Pretty neat figure regardless that he only sports 5 areas of articulation. Swivel neck, Hinge pin shoulders, and T Swivel hips.
