Not sure if this guy is “officially” a robot or what it is supposed to be. In my world he is at least part robot/cybernetic. The Visitor is part of the Jazwares’ Fortnite line produced in 2019. He is in the series 2 Early Game Survival Kit.
At the moment of this post this figure is being clearanced out at Wal-Marts for about $4.50. If you can’t find on there though Amazon has plenty still but at around $7ish.
Giddyup is part of the Season 6 Battle Pass and released as part of Jazwares’ Fortnite 4 inch series. I’m not sure what packaging type he will come in.
Vendetta is part of the Suit Up Set and released as part of Jazwares’ Fortnite 4 inch Early Game Survival Kit (EGSK) series. This is the 4th character to be added to the EGSKs.
This figure is currently available for pre-order on Amazon with a release date of April 1st 2020
Cyrstello the Crystal God is one of the new larger 1:18 ish scale figures for the Roblox line made by Jazwares in 2020.
I found the whole set of 4 figures in store at Target but you can find them on Amazon as well.
“An ancient god formed of floating crystals, Crystello is the ruler and protector of sacred caves and watches over crystals that are worth more than Robux; bow to him. Winning entry in the 2018 Rthro Design Contest. Created by Maiahz.”
Sculpt:
Crystello has some crazy crystal pieces jetting out from all over. He looks like he was made from a bunch of crystals.
Paint:
This figure doesn’t have much in the way of paint but it looks like they use some kind of mix of blue and purple translucent plastic that gives it some good color depth.
Articulation:
Crystello has the same 14 areas of articulation structure as the other two figures.
Swivel/hinge neck ball
Swivel peg and hinge shoulders
Swivel peg and hinge elbows
Swivel wrists
Swivel waist
T-hips
Single hinge knees
Swivel ankles
Accessories:
Crystello comes with two themed weapons. A crystal sword and a crystal pole axe.
Size and scale:
Crystello stands right around 3 3/4″-4″. He also works especially good with Jazwares’ Fortnite line.
Final thoughts:
Another great addition to the larger Roblox figures and will be included with some of my other elemental based figures in my fantasy collection.
The Noob Attack – Mech Mobility is one of the new larger 1:18 ish scale figures for the Roblox line made in 2020. I am going to be using this figure mainly as a robot so he qualifies for today’s droid of the day as well.
I picked mine up in store at Target but you can find them on Amazon as well.
“Can you hear the whimpering of fallen pro gamers? Somehow this noob got his hands on a crazy camouflaged mech! I think he knows how to use it! Winning entry in the 2018 Rthro Design Contest. Created by Whimy.”
Sculpt:
It looks like a mech. There is even a little Roblox guy in his chest. I plan on using this as just a regular 1:18 robot though and he has a very retro look to it. It looks spot on to the design in the game.
Paint:
Very little paint is used for this figure. It is mostly silver plastic with some light aqua highlights.
Articulation:
This figure is a little different articulation setup than the rest of the figures due to its mech-ness.
Swivel neck
Swivel shoulders
Ball elbows
Swivel wrists
Swivel waist
T-Swivel hips
Swivel ankles
Accessories:
This figure doesn’t have the best accessories. They are okay but not as great as other Roblox figures.
Heavy gun
Noob Sign
Size and Scale
I guess since this is supposed to be a Mech and the little guy in the stomach is the actual figure this is super under scaled. But as a robot it works fine for 1:18.
Final Thoughts
This figure makes for a great little retro style robot that is reminiscent of the Iron Giant.
The Lucky Gatito is one of the new larger 1:18 ish scale figures for the Roblox line made in 2020. There are currently 4 figures in this line.
I picked my figure up in store at my local Target. Amazon also has a listing for this figure and it will be in stock in late January 2020.
One fond, fine, friendly, furry, feline! Winning entry in the 2018 Rthro Design Contest. Created by roxy123412
Sculpt:
Lucky Gatito is some kind of feline character that wears sombrero like hats and plays an acoustic guitar. The sculpt is very animated but still more detailed than most Roblox figures.
Paint:
Lucky Gatito’s paint is fairly well done. It has clean lines and is a fun looking figure.
Articulation:
All of the Roblox humanoid figures in this sub-line have similar articulation. Not spectacular but serviceable.
Swivel/hinge neck ball
Swivel peg and hinge shoulders
Swivel peg and hinge elbows
Swivel wrists
Swivel waist
T-hips
Single hinge knees
Swivel ankles
Accessories:
Again, Roblox accessories are some of my favorite. Lucky Gatito is no different and comes with excellent accessories.
Sombrero like hat – This is very difficult to get on to the figure.
Sparkly cape
Acoustic guitar
Staff
Size and Scale:
Lucky Gatito is smaller than the other figures in this line and closer to the size of regular Roblox figures. I think that is okay for this character though since it is more of a feline and I like some diversity of sizes in my collection.
Final thoughts:
I love cats and figures of cats so this is a no-brainer.
