The Noob Attack – Mech Mobility is one of the new larger 1:18 ish scale figures for the Roblox line made in 2020. I am going to be using this figure mainly as a robot so he qualifies for today’s droid of the day as well.
I picked mine up in store at Target but you can find them on Amazon as well.
“Can you hear the whimpering of fallen pro gamers? Somehow this noob got his hands on a crazy camouflaged mech! I think he knows how to use it! Winning entry in the 2018 Rthro Design Contest. Created by Whimy.”
Sculpt:
It looks like a mech. There is even a little Roblox guy in his chest. I plan on using this as just a regular 1:18 robot though and he has a very retro look to it. It looks spot on to the design in the game.
Paint:
Very little paint is used for this figure. It is mostly silver plastic with some light aqua highlights.
Articulation:
This figure is a little different articulation setup than the rest of the figures due to its mech-ness.
Swivel neck
Swivel shoulders
Ball elbows
Swivel wrists
Swivel waist
T-Swivel hips
Swivel ankles
Accessories:
This figure doesn’t have the best accessories. They are okay but not as great as other Roblox figures.
Heavy gun
Noob Sign
Size and Scale
I guess since this is supposed to be a Mech and the little guy in the stomach is the actual figure this is super under scaled. But as a robot it works fine for 1:18.
Final Thoughts
This figure makes for a great little retro style robot that is reminiscent of the Iron Giant.
The Lucky Gatito is one of the new larger 1:18 ish scale figures for the Roblox line made in 2020. There are currently 4 figures in this line.
I picked my figure up in store at my local Target. Amazon also has a listing for this figure and it will be in stock in late January 2020.
One fond, fine, friendly, furry, feline! Winning entry in the 2018 Rthro Design Contest. Created by roxy123412
Sculpt:
Lucky Gatito is some kind of feline character that wears sombrero like hats and plays an acoustic guitar. The sculpt is very animated but still more detailed than most Roblox figures.
Paint:
Lucky Gatito’s paint is fairly well done. It has clean lines and is a fun looking figure.
Articulation:
All of the Roblox humanoid figures in this sub-line have similar articulation. Not spectacular but serviceable.
Swivel/hinge neck ball
Swivel peg and hinge shoulders
Swivel peg and hinge elbows
Swivel wrists
Swivel waist
T-hips
Single hinge knees
Swivel ankles
Accessories:
Again, Roblox accessories are some of my favorite. Lucky Gatito is no different and comes with excellent accessories.
Sombrero like hat – This is very difficult to get on to the figure.
Sparkly cape
Acoustic guitar
Staff
Size and Scale:
Lucky Gatito is smaller than the other figures in this line and closer to the size of regular Roblox figures. I think that is okay for this character though since it is more of a feline and I like some diversity of sizes in my collection.
Final thoughts:
I love cats and figures of cats so this is a no-brainer.
The Digital Artist is one of the new larger 1:18 ish scale figures for the Roblox line made in 2020.
I picked mine up at Target but you can find them on Amazon as well.
They’re never worried about making a mess, because everything is virtually a masterpiece when you’re a digital artist!
Winning entry in the 2018 Rthro Design Contest. Created by bunpunk.
Sculpt:
For a Roblox figure her sculpt is miles above other Roblox figures. She does have a pretty basic sculpt though with smooth features that gives her a very animated look.
Paint:
She is mostly colored plastic with a few paint highlights. Where they did add paint highlights her artisticness with paint spots on her pants and shoes.
Articulation:
This is new ground for Roblox figures. She comes with 14 areas of articulation. They aren’t the best types but they are adequate.
Swivel/hinge neck ball
Swivel peg and hinge shoulders
Swivel peg and hinge elbows
Swivel wrists
Swivel waist
T-hips
Single hinge knees
Swivel ankles
Accessories:
This is one of Roblox’s figures strong points. I always really like their accessories.
Street sign
Digital mask
Belt
2 spray paint cans
Hover board
Hover board stand
Size and scale:
I’m not really sure where this line falls in scale. They are much larger than the regular Roblox figures and the Digital Artist stands right around 3 3/4″-4″. She works especially good with Jazwares’ Fortnite line.
Final thoughts:
I really like this figure for what it is. Nothing ground breaking but she is a fun figure that will work great with the Fortnite figures.
I recently found the multi-set at Ross but I had been eyeing it for a while because I like the concept of realistic-ish Pokemon for my Creature Menagerie. I had already purchased some of the single carded figures and really liked them. These figures were made by Wicked Cool Toys in 2018.
This set can be found at most retailers still at the time of this post or picked up from Amazon.
I picked up this new Armored Batman and Clayface set up from Amazon. This was the only set listed at the time.
It’s Batman Articulation is okay. Would have really liked to see ankle articulation for a Ninja. I’m not sure if this character has a backstory to him or not since he is made by a Chinese company and most of the information about him is in Chinese, which I cannot read. He does however have a striking resemblance to one of the characters from “Borderlands” which is the main reason I purchased this particular figure.
Sculpt:
The Bounty Hunter’s sculpt represents a human wearing pants pretty good. He does come with 3 heads and they are all really well sculpted.
Paint:
The figure is mostly colored plastic with a bit of weathering to enhance the details and make it look a little more realistic. He does come with a very intricate tattoo on his left arm.
Articulation:
This little figure has tons of articulation.
Ball joint neck
Barbel lower neck
Double swivel pin shoulders
Double swivel pin elbows
Swivel pin wrists
Barbel upper torso
T-ball hips that connect to the torso and sits in the crotch
Swivel cut thighs
Double swivel double pin knees
Swivel “rocker” ankles
Hinged toes
Accessories:
The Bounty Hunter comes with 3 heads. One with no helmet, one with a baseball style hat and headset, and one that is a full helmet. He also comes with a set of removable armor and leg holsters.
Size and Scale:
The Bounty Hunter scales perfectly with modern day 1:18 scaled figures.
Final thoughts:
Joy Toy figures are pretty expensive and they focus mostly on modern military figures witch isn’t really my thing. I took a chance on this figure because he looked so much like the Borderlands character which I needed as part of my Fortnite crossover collection. I will probably paint his helmet a bit to match the Borderlands character a bit more and will leave him with his armor off.
Quick with a joke, Albert VIIs body is as agile as his wit. The class
clown of the team, he hangs out with Quillroy between missions and gets
into mischief.
Sculpt:
Albert VII seems to be some kind of Monkeytaur. He sports some heavy armor on his arms and wears a crop-top long sleeve jacket and long yellow pants. All of these details are sculpted onto the figure and are pretty detailed. They also sculpted the hair on his back and head.
Paint:
All of the colors are crisp and bright. Panda Mony did not use too much
paint for the figure and instead cast most of the pieces in the color
they wanted.
Albert VII’s body and face are a light brown plastic to represnt flesh with the fur painted a darker brown.
The pants are cast in a bright yellow with the knee pads and belt
painted. There is also some black splatter paint that I am unsure of the
reason for.
His jacket on his torso is fully painted a solid dark gray with green
straps and light gray buckles. The arms of the jacket is cast in a
similar dark gray plastic. The detailing on the inside of the arm is not
painted but the armored portions are a single light gray color. The only places that were painted outside the sculpt are on his feet. There is some sculpted fur that was not fully painted.
His eyes are particularly well done and gives an animated look.
Articulation:
Albert VII has an impressive array of 15 areas of articulation.

Accessories:
Albert comes with five accessories that emphasize his playful nature.

Ray-gun Revolver
Squishable Cream Pie
Working Extendo-Boxing Glove Mallet

Size and Scale:
Alter Nation is technically a 1:12 scale line but Albert VII is the
smallest figure in the line. I thought that I would try one of the
figures and put them in with my Ninja Turtles or Fortnite collection. He
is wacky enough to fit in either one of those collections
His official listing puts him at about 5 inches tall. but I think that includes his horns.
Compared to a Boss Fight Studio Vitruvian HACKS 1:18 scale blank. He is a little large to fit in with a regular 1:18 line. He would end up being like 7 feet tall. Which is not unreasonable for something that looks like a monkeytaur.
Scale compared to a Boss Fight Studio Vitruvian HACKS blank.
Fortnite Peely and Jonesy. He really shines with the Fortnite figures and almost fits in perfectly due to his wackiness and since he is not a bulky figure. I especially like how well he fits in with Peely. I think these two will end up being best friends.
Scale compared to Jazwares Fortnite Jonesy and Peely.
TMNT Usagi Yojimbo and Ben10 Rath. TMNT and Ben 10 are both a little bulkier type of figure but he fits in well in both of these lines as well.
Final thoughts:
For an independent toy company I think Panda Mony knocked this one out
of the park. I really love this figure and wish that the other figures
they made were in the scope of my collection. I will get Daart but none
of the other ones.
I especially like how he and his accessories goes so well with Peely. I
like to think the gun is like Green Lanterns constructs but Peely can
create anything he needs by peeling a banana
